The good news is that the weather turned hot! We did not have a "Spring" but went right into summer. The veggie garden is planted along with the flowers.
The wood chuck is back in town
Loons are in the lake
Eagles are flying
On May 26th we got some heat!
On May 27th we had dinner with friends, Terry and Pam H, Lori and Larry M, Thad and Billie H, at Pine Brook Farms. The food was all delicious, especially the pan fried walleye!
the farm is such a pretty and serene setting for a great meal and conversation.
The do have weddings here
May 31: We have not seen a bear on property in a few years. This guy found our bird feeders while we were on our morning walk, then came back in the early evening for a snack! He looks to be a yearling, just being out on his own.
We ended the month by not getting any more life birds so we are still at 610, Year birds are up by 52 to 383 and we ended the month at a whopping 207!



It took me awhile but I’ve finally caught up on reading all of your blogs. You will have to show me how to set up a reminder when a new one is posted, I can’t find the button. As always very entertaining and beautiful pics. Ray looks great, plus love his new place.
