We left home on Oct 28th, 6 weeks ago.. We plan on settling down on Dec 15, only one week left on the road.. Today we drove about 135 miles to Jacksonville. Again all highway miles, so pretty quick drive at about 3 hours. We are staying at Pecan Park in north Jacksonville
the sites are long, concrete with full hookup. A bit pricy but right off of I95. The SMART group is a Retired Military RV group. Mostly Air Force and Navy here at the park.
After we set up we took it easy for the day. Did not leave the park, took a walk or two, wonderful shower then Beef Stew for dinner.. great day to enjoy the sun and warmth. We even opened the windows and put the awnings out! Glad we are finally in Florida.

Eric caught another cold, I am just getting over my coughing... what the heck.. is this going to be the
winter of colds??? lets hope this is the last one..
time to relax by the pool and recover from that blasted cold....
I was sitting by the pool for a few minutes but got too hot! I actually had shorts and a t-shirt on, the sun
was warm.. it felt good to feel the warmth of the sun.

it was pretty good, the marinate was a bit spicy for me but I cleaned my plate.
loving the warm temperature, our walk along the ocean was so peaceful. No one out there but us and
the birds. Probably will not get that again.
Tomorrow we drive about 160 miles to Orlando for 3 days.
