June 11: Kathy headed to Cleveland to meet the Bridgeview Girls for our week of fun.
There was 10 of us. We had a wonderful time visiting, eating, drinking and site seeing. We spent one day at Put-In -Bay and another at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Too much fun, not enough sleep.
When I got home from Cleveland on Friday, we stayed in the cities overnight as we had two High School Graduations to attend. Of course we found some great birding spot and managed to get two new birds!! We really don't get to see our friends often, so it is always a treat to spend time with them.
Flowers are blooming, baby animals: deer, sandhill crane, woodchucks all make our yard their place to roam. Wild strawberries and raspberries are ready to eat. Our veggie garden is doing ok, some are great others are just ok. We will see what the fall harvest brings. We had a bad storm, high winds that knocked down a few large fir trees, no other damage.
