Wildlife Neighbors and Guests

Early May morning, looks like the forest is on fire, it is just the sun coming up!



Rose Breasted Grosbeak have arrived in big numbers, at least 8 to 10 in the yard at one time!


Blue Jays are a bit shy

Canada Geese and babies!!


Common Loon hanging by himself in our lake


 American Redstart, the only one we have seen so far


Plum tree in bloom!  wonder if we will get enough to make jam???


Apple trees are beginning to bloom, we need to keep an eye on those rascally raccoons this year!

 The turtles are taking advantage of the sun!


In one week the babies have grown so big

although the sun is out it is a bit cool, will be glad when the heat is on.. need to get my tank tops and shorts back on..

Broad Winged Hawk,  Momma hawk is in the nest, we should have babies soon!
