We got back about 3:30, when the sky turned dark. Eric got the pontoon covered and back into the house before the storms came! We were not expecting rain when we left out in the morning. Pretty much rained all night.

Wed, Kathy finally went golfing for the first time this season. Great day to be out and about. The only bad thing is that none of the ladies wore face coverings and most did not respect the 6 ft rule...
Thursday we headed to Stevens Point/Plover in mid Wisconsin for a few nights. We lucked out with the weather as it was perfect.
Our hotel was near a Mexican restaurant that we could walk to, sit outside and enjoy a great meal.
the wait staff was very careful as were the customers. lots of hand sanitizer was used...
the next night we went to Oso Brewing, just down the strip mall from our hotel. They too were very careful. A food truck was on site with pretty good food. Everyone was wearing face masks and the brewery had outside sitting..
We had great walks and found a few new year birds but that elusive Greater Prairie Chicken is still evading us. Some day we will get it!
Monday June 8 was a very hot and humid day! our first 90! Eric had to take a dip in the lake.
By Wednesday the temp cooled down to 55 and rain! What the heck.. Golf was a bit challenging with the mist and wind but I had a great time. The garden is looking great, we harvested some wonderful lettuce and spinach and radishes for a fabulous salad.

Peonies are beginning to open! too bad they don't last all summer

took a ride to the Tree Farm in Bruce, all looked good, we were hoping the wild blueberries were ripe but no.. it was a cool morning so a good day to mow a bit and take a walk around the property.
June 23: we have a baby! Crane that is... it is too cute for words!
June 24: We had a nice (keeping socially distant) visit with Cousins Linda, Dan, Emmett and Anne at their place in Hayward. It is always fun to spend time with these 4. Lots of yapping and laughing.. It was a beautiful day to sit by the lake, enjoying the light breeze, sunshine and company.
Not too much rain this month so we have been watering as much as we can. The grass was getting kind of crunchy and brown. Seems like we have not had to water the grass in years.

We have been spending a lot of time cooking at home and everything on the grill..
Our colt is growing and learning how to eat corn with mom
they come out at about 5:45 every afternoon for a bite to eat. It is so cute...
