September... the leaves are falling

We began the month at the Minnesota State Fair!  Great Food, Great Friends and Great Fun.

Roberta and John G. came back to Wisconsin for a few days of hot humid weather. A little canoeing

Finished off the holiday weekend with a pontoon ride and my first attempt to try the Stand Up Paddle board..

Eric has a "Boys" weekend in Sept every year, so I am forced to have a "girls" weekend.  This year the Girls (Rose Williamson and Kim Galan) went to Red Wing Mn.

We made some Jerky from Venison we got from a friend.

received a wonderful birthday gift from cousin Rose.  Luffa pods and a soap making kit!

apple picking time:  applesauce and brandy apple rings were canned.

took one last pontoon ride with friends
