Here we go.... temp about 42, rainy but not windy.
We drove about 135 miles to Black River Falls Wi. It was a bit wet and rainy but not pouring for our 2.5 hour drive. We only made one stop!
Our first night on the road
not raining here and a bit warmer (58).
The water, showers and restrooms are turned off already. the campground was empty until a tent camper showed up. Of course we had to check out the nature trail.
to the top of the Castle Mound was a bit scary
but coming down is always scarier
There is winter water (well water). thought I would try it to fill my coffee pot.. but it had too much iron in it so went with bottled water.
A great start to our fall journey. Tomorrow we head to Madison Wi.
