Those rascally raccoons ate all of our apples! The trees had a lot of fruit on them this year. Last year we took 3 buckets with us on the road after dehydrating, baking, canning and giving a lot away. This year we have 3 apples!!! Might have to look up a recipe for Raccoon in the crock pot!
The birds are migrating early this month. We went for a hike on the Ice Age trail. Wonderful hike, just a few mosquitos but fewer birds.
We did see one Trumpeter Swan.
Ladies golf league concluded on Sept 15th. I was hoping to knock a few strokes off of my game this year but... too many putts and bad hits prevented that from happening. I did have a lot of fun, met a few new ladies and was able to walk the course so it was all good.

Next stop, we are still in Wisconsin...
Finally over the Minnesota Border... had to make another stop.
We had another stop or two before landing at the Mall of America at 4:00. Wow it has changed a lot since my last visit. We had a wonderful dinner at Cadillac Ranch. Went to Shakopee to our hotel about 7 then off to the casino to win a few dollars! We got back to the hotel around 9:30 pm A very long day with out a nap!!!
Saturday we went for a wonderful walk right outside of our hotel.
off to the races....
we stayed for 5 races, collected our winnings and left.
Right next door, same parking lot we went to
we did not finish the maze.. Although Rose did a wonderful job getting us around. We were tired and ready to move on..
Its now about 5 pm, time for dinner. We headed back to the casino, where we had a wonderful dinner, won a bunch of money and danced the night away!
We did not get back to the hotel until after midnight! these are really long days. too much to do not enough time.. but it sure is fun.
Sunday we took our time getting back home, made a few stops including this cheese house.
we were there for a wonderful breakfast, too early for lunch... stopped at one more casino, won again!! ice cream stop before getting home by 2:30 pm.
Wonderful weekend.
