On the way back to Wisconsin

Monday April 6, 2015:  Headed to the Army Corp of Engineers campground in Ponca City.  Nice park but NO TV, Computer or Phone!  it was very hot and humid!  shorts and tank tops for our hike.  Beautiful lake and a bit windy.  We had to put the A/C on in order to sleep!

this guy was triple decking...  truck-RV-Pontoon! We would NEVER try that move....

Tuesday April 7: Clinton State Park in Lawrence Kansas. Another hot and humid day!  Everything is sooo green!  we love the desert but also love our green grass and pine trees. final day for shorts and tank tops!  not sure when we will put them on again...

Wednesday April 8: Walnut Woods State Park in Iowa.  Nice small park with modern restrooms but no showers for $11 a night.  Very green and the trees are budding.  There has been a lot of rain recently so we were not able to hike the trails.  There is a very nice bird blind with filled feeders.  temps in the high 40's with lots of fog

Thursday April 9: final night on the road!  we are staying at Dakotah Meadows RV campground next to Mystic Lake Casino.  This is the same place we began our journey on Oct 27th.  So glad to be close to home.  not as green but no snow!  had a bit of hail this afternoon.  they increased their prices by $4 to $30 for full hook up.

tomorrow we head home.. 155 miles to Birchwood!  we are excited to be going home after 5+ months on the road.
