Not a very productive month. We were ahead of the birds going north by about a month. We seen 101 species, 11 of them were new 2015 birds and only 1 new life bird!
I suspect the next few months will be pretty light on new birds but there are plenty we have not seen. We will be attending the Bird Fest in Ashland Wi mid May and we have a trip to North Carolina planned in June..
The warblers have not arrived here yet nor the other migrating birds. One good thing about not seeing so many birds is that our 3 mile walk only takes us about an hour vs 3 hours when the warblers show up!
