Best Western Chequamegon on Lake Superior

As can be seen in the above picture, we are on the top floor. Yet at night we can hear someone walking with a heavy foot. Could it be the next room over where the noise only sounds like it is over head OR is this place haunted?? It is a very old hotel, been here for many many years..

Thurs we spent the whole day out and about, another beautiful day filled with sunshine, very light winds and warm (70's) temps! We are so lucky to have picked these days.
Friday turned out a bit cooler and cloudy but we had a great day hiking etc..
Port Wing temps were about 45 deg! across the peninsula in Washburn it was 65.
Monkey tree!! I am not a fan of monkeys but liked this tree..
One of our favorite places to eat is Patsy's in Washburn. they are still doing curbside only. We ordered the fabulous Lake Superior White Fish, Fish Fry! We were able to stop at the local brewery to fill the growler for $10 with some great Honey Ale.
Saturday is time to check out and head home.. We had a great time and will be back...Wow the grass was so long! Had to mow as soon as we got home. The trees and plants really sprouted in the last 3 days. The garden is popping too!
