well the rain has stopped!  we had a good 3 mile walk this morning before heading off the resort.  Our first stop was at Ivey Ranch Country Club to hit some balls.  Of course we forgot tees and gloves...  but did not do too badly.  looks like an easy course, might try the golf course next time.

We have not been birding forever so off we go to the Cochella Preserve, another 2 miles, only a dozen birds, but a wonderful walk.  Lunch at In & Out..  soooo good...

Next stop to the casino, Eric quadrupled his money!  $5 -$20!  I lost 11...  there was an RV show at the casino,  we just looked at motor homes and 5th wheels.  We still like ours best!

Downtown to see the Palm Springs Tree lighting and to walk the Village Fest they have on Thursday nights.

Carol Channing was the celebrity host along with a local welter weight champion boxer Tim Bradley and the mayor of PS

we got some free hot chocolate (as the temp was only 68) and a cookie

as we were walking to the village fest we came along this star!
