October time for falling leaves and packing

The month began cool and rainy.  We probably received at least 10 inches of rain in the first two weeks.  The weather turned unseasonably cool and stayed there except for a day or two.

Cousin Linda and Danny were up for a fall vacation in Hayward.  We were able to have lunch and visit with them and hang out at the Cranberry fest in Stone Lake.

We had a fun time talking with the Cheerio's guys from Le Suer MN!

Linda is quite the shopper and filled up her cart with lots of goodies. Although a rainy day and a bit cold we managed to enjoy our time together.

Packing and cleaning is the the agenda for the first two weeks.  We are not taking as much as in the past so careful thought has to go into packing each room.

Our final weekend in Birchwood was cold, windy, snowy, rainy...

Oct 15, on our way south!  We are hoping to arrive at the Laguna Atascosa Wild Life Refuge in Los Fresnos Tx on Nov 1...
