we tried to go here last week but they had a private party that took over the whole restaurant. Of course we had the burgers. they were really really good, so were the hand cut fries.
we spent the rest of the afternoon going to 5 different parks to look for specific birds. Needless to say we only got one new one! We don't usually target bird but thought it would be a good day to see a few parks and be outside enjoying the wonderful weather.
we did find a red naped sapsucker
and some Bronzed Cowbirds
We found some wonderful parks and seen an Ice Cream truck! have not seen or heard a Ice Cream truck in many years.. Brought back fun memories...
Thursday Feb 5: Went back to Madera Canyon to find a few elusive birds. We actually got 5 today!

Did not get pics of the other two.. Magnificent Hummingbird and a Hutton's Vireo
We stopped at Safeway and look what we found!
I am not a fan of Red Velvet but... we still have two packages of other flavored Oreos..
