Nov 5 2015: We headed out by 9 am for Goreville Il.  This was our longest drive of the trip, 225 miles. It took about 5 hours of driving, most of it on I57.  We did hit a bit of rain for about an hour but was just cloudy when we set up camp.  Rain began about 4pm and continued all night..  Needless to say, we can hear every drop of rain on the roof of the RV.  In fact the TV volume has to be turned up pretty loud in order to somewhat hear what is being said.

Our site is pretty big with electricity and water close enough we can use a hose.  Shower house is open for a few more weeks.  We were able to get a quick hike in before the rain began.  We seen some Black Vultures and deer...

Friday Nov 6: headed to

Saturday Nov 7:  we went back to Crab Orchard WLR for a Bird tour.  There was about 18 participants, we seen about 45 species of birds.
