We hung around our camp for the last two days. Eric was feeling a bit weak but good. We did go out for lunch and a bit of shopping on Wednesday. Thursday, I did laundry then we took a ride to the Carlsbad Caverns.
We did not go into the caves but checked out the visitor center. It has been very cold and windy the last couple of days. Looks like a place where we could spend a few days next time we are in the neighborhood.
Today we headed to El Paso Texas. It was about a 200 mile drive and almost 6 hours. We made a few stops including
the mountains are beautiful
we also drove through Salt Flats.. pretty flat and suspecting pretty salty
We are actually north of El Paso in Vinton, Texas at a new campground just behind a Camping World. No ambience but it has a beautiful view, full hook ups for $27.
depending on the weather (wind) we will leave here on Sunday or Monday for Lordsburg, NM.
