April for the birds!

April 30, 2016:  this months numbers are 540 for life (+3 new birds),  221 for the year( + 51)  and 163 for the month.  It helps that we were in Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Illinois and Wisconsin for the month.
Today we went to



we tried to find this place last year but no luck.  It is in Spooner Wi about 25 miles from our home.

thought it was too cold for snakes!  guess not...


We had a great 2 hour walk, heard a few birds we did not identify.  next time...

    I loved spring in Wisconsin. It isn't winter and it isn't summer. It is it's own season. Not like Colorado or Arizona.
