Where we seen our 539th bird!! The Whooping Crane
he is so much larger than the Great Blue Heron, and we thought they were huge!
Great time walking around the refuge for a few hours.
Bird count for the trip: additional 37 new life birds!! We were actually thinking more like 50 but.... we plan on going back to Big Cypress so maybe we can find those elusive birds this fall...
Tomorrow we go about 170 miles until we get home!!!
