Almost home!!

Sunday April 9, 2017  We left Hudson Il at 8:20 am, arrived at Ho Chunk Casino, 233 miles, at 1:00 pm.  It took awhile to checkin but we finally set up and headed out to Goose Island where we found bird number 570!! the Cackling Goose

That would be the small necked goose, the others being Canada geese...

Our last night on the road, so sad, but glad to be getting home again after 5+ months on the road.  We did go to the casino where we had a nice dinner at the deli and proceeded to contribute a few dollars at the casino.  But we did luck out with Spotted Cow beer on draft for $4 a pint..  so glad to be back home again.

tomorrow we have 207 miles till we get home.  they are forecasting snow and ugly weather but we are ready to be home so we are on our way....
