Oh Home Sweet Home.  As much as we love being on the road, especially during the winter, it is so nice to walk in the house after 5+ months.  There was not any snow on the ground as they had a warm  with little snow winter here in Birchwood. The house was exactly the same as we left it.  No issues with anything.  We always expect issues because "its always something".

We did get snow on Tuesday night.  about 3 inches, can't through the spring without a bit of snow.

A typical spring with rain, warm temps and cold temps did not keep us from getting out for our morning walks.  The trees are budding, the grass is green, birds are migrating and flowers are blooming.

Wisconsin DNR has a 5 year plan to count and find nesting birds.  This is year 3.  We have been asked to pick up two more blocks not too far from our home. We scoped the blocks out, most of the blocks are private property but we were able to find a few good walking spots.

It is really great to be home.
