April rain and snow showers

Its been mostly cool, cold and wet since we arrived home.  We did have a few days of sunshine, Eric even had shorts on for two days although not in a row.  I have been wearing flannel lined jeans, two long sleeve shirts, two jackets, wool hat, two pairs of gloves and of course thick socks and boots for our daily walks.   Its been raining or snowing almost every day.  But spring will come, maybe in two weeks??

We hit three Friday Fish Frys this month.  they were all pretty good.  We have been able to clean up some of the wooded area, lots and lots of downed timber.  We spoke about putting the boats in but that will have to wait until next month.

April Bird count  life  570 (no change) year is up 39 birds to 233 and we end the month at 127. We did find a few birds that look like they are nesting, hope to find more next month.
