Back in Texas!

Thursday March 19, 2015.  Back in Texas!  Oh how we love Texas! So glad to be back in the Lone Star State.  We drove about 4 hours and 155 miles.  Once we got out of El Paso it was clear sailing.  Once we passed into some new county the speed limit went up to 80! Of course we did not get near 80!   Landed in Van Horn right off of I10 at Desert Willow RV park.  big pull thru sites, old but big clean showers.

the food was very good and very inexpensive!  John Madden's favorite place!  lots of football memorabilia.

Friday March 20:  the weather for driving was not too good, lots of heavy fog, rain and trucks passing us at 80mph.  we drove 225 miles to Ozona.

We did get out for a walk in between the raindrops.

tomorrow we head to Fredericksburg for a few days.
