Left Rodeo NM at about 10 am, drove 115 miles to Deming NM. the weather was OK, but it was very windy. Glad we were only going a short way to
gravel sites, old clean bathroom, cable TV (we did not use) and free WiFi (we did not use) for $25 a night.
Our Truck was soooo dirty.. found a car wash to get the "big chunks" off.
time for lunch, we went to the #1 place (Trip Advisor) in Deming.. It was FABULOUS! we had a pepperoni pizza that was one of the best we have had in years! It was so good we are thinking about going back for the ravioli!
after that wonderful lunch we headed to the near by park for a walk. they had one exercise platform...
Quite night at the park listening to some Honkey Tonk...
Sunday: Headed south to
very nice park with a nice campground. not too much hiking but nice garden to walk around. It's less than a mile from the border.
next stop:
you are allowed to take 15 lbs. of rocks out of the park.. this one would look good in my front circle but its a bit more than 15 pounds!

the wild flowers were really showy, they come in all colors

finally on to
wonderful place to taste wine and even better place to purchase some wine!
we could stay here another day or so but it is time to move on. tomorrow we will drive about 55 miles to Las Cruces, New Mexico. Really loving the Southwest!
